MacGregor – Let's shape the future together

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design of hydraulic and electric control systems tailored for maritime applications. This includes drafting precise technical specifications and software/hardware requirements for suppliers and subcontractors, as well as managing their progress to ensure alignment with delivery schedules. Additionally, you will take ownership of the control system design timeline within the broader project framework, keeping the Construction Manager regularly informed of status updates and schedule milestones.

More tasks and responsibilities

• Control system design (Hydraulic / Electric)
• Make technical specifications & requirements for design subcontractors and suppliers (hardware / software)
• Responsibility for getting approval from Class, Shipyard, Ship owner and Authorities
• Responsibility for sending working drawings to Shipyard
• Responsibility for making delivery list

What you’ll need to succeed

• Good knowledge of Automation technology and/or Hydraulics
• Technical approach
• Knowledge on design tools related to main tasks
• Ability to multitask
• Experience in Project business
• High school diploma or above required
