Why this role matters
This is more than a content role. It’s a chance to shape how customers experience Origin at every stage of their journey. We service 4.8 million customers across residential and business accounts and this role will play a critical role in ensuring customer-facing content is relevant, timely, but most important, useful.
You’ll sit within our Marketing team’s Customer Communications Experience & Personalisation stream, partnering closely with digital, product, service functions and performance teams to:
Create compelling, conversion-focused content across our digital sales channels
Enhance product pages and landing pages to improve onsite experience
Drive measurable growth in customer acquisition and sales performance
Support communications objectives across all of our digital channels, including web, app, email and app
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our content is engaging, persuasive, and aligned to our brand tone helping turn interest into action across all of our experience touchpoints for our residential and business customers.
What you’ll be doing
Delivering high-impact content across digital sales channels
Tailoring content to each stage of the customer journey
Supporting optimisation of product and landing pages to improve conversion rates
Using data and performance insights to continuously improve content effectiveness
Maintaining content governance standards — accuracy, compliance and consistency
Managing multiple projects while keeping quality and deadlines front of mind
Collaborating across teams to bring bold ideas to life
This is a hands-on role. You’ll think on your feet, move quickly, and contribute tactically while aligning to broader strategic goals.
What you’ll bring
Essential:
Proven experience in sales or acquisition-focused content
Strong writing and editing skills with a persuasive edge
Experience optimising content across a sales funnel
Ability to use data and insights to inform decisions
Confidence working across multiple stakeholders and projects
A proactive, detail-oriented mindset
Desirable:
Experience in large organisations
Exposure to agency, in-house or not-for-profit environments
Knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platform
