Are you passionate about construction, design, and helping customers bring their building projects to life? We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Building Design & Print Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will work directly with homeowners, contractors, builders, and our sales team to create comprehensive building plans and visual presentations that help turn project concepts into reality. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills, technical knowledge, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive construction print packages, including:

• Floor plans
• Building elevations
• Section cuts
• Interior renderings
• Exterior renderings
• Guide customers through the building design process from concept to final print package.
• Collaborate with customers and contractors to ensure designs align with project goals, budgets, and construction requirements.
• Assist customers with product, material, and finish selections.
• Update plans, drawings, and renderings based on project revisions and customer feedback.
• Review plans for accuracy, completeness, and constructability.
• Work closely with sales, estimating, and project teams to support customer projects.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation throughout the design process.
• Provide professional customer service while helping clients visualize and refine their projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with residential, post-frame, agricultural, commercial, or light construction design preferred.
• Proficiency with building design, drafting, or CAD software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of building materials and construction methods.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Experience creating architectural renderings is preferred.
• Knowledge of the building materials or construction industry is a plus.
