Apparel is a key category for the business – and we’re looking for a talented Apparel Designer with exceptional product development and graphic design skills and a strong collaborative approach to join our passionate in-house design team!

Our in-house Design team is the creative conduit in the business – working alongside our buying and sourcing departments, this is a dynamic & varied role with lots of opportunity to set trends, add value, creativity – what could be better than designing commercial ranges our customers will fall in love with and proudly say “Got it from The Warehouse!”. Your wheelhouse of product development, technical textile and design skills and experience will help deliver exciting, must-have trend focused ranges!

A snapshot of the role will see you:

  • Product development and graphics design for apparel ranges
  • Trend forecasting key items, colours, fabrics, details and products for seasonal launches for the apparel categories.
  • Work collaboratively with buying and sourcing teams to curate and build cohesive ranges
  • Research and apply market & trend information through design analytics.

Qualifications

You’ll have true customer mindset and ability to design fitting commercial needs! A passionate team player with a collaborative approach will enjoy working in the dynamic, fast-paced retail environment. You’ll be nimble to change with a strong ability to adapt quickly to priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.

  • Proven intermediate to senior level designer experience including taking product from concept through execution
  • Experience working across Activewear and Menswear highly desirable
  • Demonstrated creative ability including graphics, textile design
  • Designing for a commercial, retail environment
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator & Photoshop
