Job Title: NOAM Designer (Digital and Graphic)

Location: Tygervalley, Cape Town

Job Summary: This candidate is responsible for creating compelling and visually stunning designs that effectively communicate our brand message to a variety of global audiences. The candidate is expected to collaborate with various teams to create design solutions ensuring consistency and quality across all platforms.

With this role for our North American brands, this will be onsite and US hours (3pm – 12am)

Responsibilities:

  • Create visual designs that communicate the brand message effectively across multiple mediums including digital and social media.
  • Produce multimedia content including videos, animations, interactive elements.
  • Edit and enhance audio, video, imagery to create engaging and informative content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design solutions are aligned with business goals and objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work within budgets.
  • Create and maintain style guides to ensure consistency across all design mediums.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, design software, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with web developers to implement designs and optimize site performance.
  • Maintain positive and productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Provide design support for internal communications, marketing materials, and other collateral as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of branding initiatives and promotional campaigns.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop visual elements for user interface and user experience design.
  • Provide creative input and feedback to team members and stakeholders on design projects.
  • Ability to project manager multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources allocated efficiently.
  • Stay up to date won the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Report directly to Creative Operations Manager.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in an in-house setting.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of typography, layout, and design principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams to deliver creative solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • A portfolio of work that demonstrates a range of design abilities and styles.
