About the Role
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Junior Interior Designer to join our workplace interiors team. The candidate will assist in the design, coordination, and execution of corporate office and commercial interior projects from concept development to site execution.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about workplace design, space planning, materials, detailing, and coordination with vendors and consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing workplace and office interior projects.
- Prepare concept presentations, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Develop space planning layouts and furniture layouts.
- Prepare detailed working drawings and GFCs.
- Coordinate with vendors, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Support project coordination during execution stages.
- Visit sites for measurements, inspections, and design coordination.
- Assist in selection of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
- Ensure drawings and design details are aligned with project requirements and timelines.
- Maintain project documentation and BOQ coordination.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp / Revit
- Photoshop
- MS Office / PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of workplace interior detailing and execution.
- Good design sensibility and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture systems.
- Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
- 0–2 years of experience in interior design projects.
- Freshers with strong software and presentation skills can also apply.
