Primary Responsibilities:

• Detail, independently, one or more Prospiant product lines in preparation for submittal of Approval /Shop/Fabrication drawings for our Operations department, clients/customers using CAD/CAM software.
• Perform basic greenhouse or greenhouse systems drafting assignments independently as requested by Design Manager.
• Provide design layouts and detailing that require independent research, compile, and record information for an assigned project.
• Prepare material lists and takeoffs for projects of moderate size and complexity with oversite.
• Use all available resources to provide professional and accurate documents within established time frame.
• Monitor, minimize, and focus on hours spent on all projects.
• Consistently demonstrated professional judgment, consistency, and attention to detail; proven track record in successfully completing small- and large-scale projects with little oversight.
• Competent in multiple conventional aspects of greenhouse design.
• Communicate with Engineers, Sales, Project Managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Prepares internally reviewed letters to designers for such things as information requests, technical guidance, transmittal comments/questions, etc.
• Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring skills in all conventional aspects of greenhouse designs for projects of moderate size and complexity with minimal oversite
• Able to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Committed to successfully mentoring junior staff.
• Identify and promote continuous improvement opportunities across people, processes, and equipment.
• Maintain effective communication with all departments to achieve organizational targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure compliance with all safety (OHSA), quality, and environmental programs.
• Perform other duties as required.
