In this role, you will champion value-driven design decisions, uncover efficiency opportunities, and influence product direction across engineering, supply chain, and commercial teams. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Analyze product material, labor, and related costs to uncover value opportunities.

  • Build and manage a pipeline of Design-to-Value projects.

  • Document and assess potential project impact to support prioritization.

  • Lead workshops that unlock efficiency improvements across the value chain.

  • Review customer specifications to identify implementation challenges.

  • Maintain technology and feature assessments through competitive benchmarking.

  • Partner with Product and Application Managers on evolving market demands.

  • Collaborate with Customer Order Engineers to identify engineering improvement projects.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical or supply chain role.

  • Project leadership experience; Project Management Certification beneficial.

  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Windchill, Creo, and ERP systems (SAP required); ECAD experience (E3 or similar) a plus.

  • Authorization to work in the United States for Hitachi Energy.
