This is your chance to join the C&A team as a Design Specialist Flatknit/Circularknit (m/f/d)!

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sample makers to ensure that prototypes are made according to the correct specifications
• Keep up to date with industry trends and new technologies and incorporate these into your designs / Assist with research on current and future fashion trends, materials, and techniques
• Willingness to learn with a progressive mentality by taking on tasks and responsibilities for skill development
• Assist with fittings and make any necessary changes to the design
• Create sketches and technical drawings / 3D design

What you bring

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• At least 1–2 years of design experience
• Basic understanding of video editing and creating motion pictures
• Strong understanding of fashion design principles
• Solid knowledge of fabrics and materials, including their properties, quality, and a good awareness of suitability
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry‑relevant tools; initial experience in using these to bring creative visions to life is appreciated
• Passionate about the product, focused on optimizing quality processes and delivering the best product for our consumer
• Good communication (written and verbal), analytical (critical thinking), and organizational skills, with great attention to detail and efficient time management, while being able to manage and react to change
• Strong team player with good relationship skills, combined with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
