of the Lead, Sales (Key Holder) role
You will inspire customers to express themselves in their home. You will bring the brand to life for our customers by making it easy for them to discover products that best suit the way they entertain. You will drive sales by sparking connections and making lasting customers of the brand.
Responsibilities
• Support store's selling, service, event and customer experience efforts to drive traffic & sales, increase conversion, and
strengthen brand loyalty.
• Effectively perform the Selling Captain role, serving as a role model for sales associates in sales generation and customer
service by making the customer experience the priority
• Meet personal productivity targets and goals, while providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
• Demonstrates selling behaviors that drive sales and build brand loyalty leveraging all services/opportunities: credit
card/the Key, email capture, registry, BOPIS/BOSTS/BOSFS, and STELLA
• Support clienteling efforts to drive traffic and build brand loyalty.
• Model selling & service for the team. Achieve SPH.
• Partner with GM to assess, recognize and motivate talent.
• Serves as a learning partner and guide during associate onboarding. Facilitates design crew training and skill building
activities as required for design and sales team.
• Effectively supports the selling floor to maximize traffic, conversion and sales.
• Manages Brickworks to ensure appointments are assigned to Design Crew members in a timely manner.
• Ensures effective cashwrap organization.
• Abide by all safety, security/injury and emergency policy and procedures.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, in accordance with our
People First Philosophy.
• Perform projects and assignments as directed by the management team.
Qualifications & Requirements
• 1-3 years retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred
• 1-2 years experience in home related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred (specialty
retail preferred, but not required).
• Effective communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and influence others through personal actions and examples.
• Ability to lift & mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment & safety techniques
• Employment/promotion to this role will be contingent on successful completion of a background check.

Physical Requirements
· Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
· Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
· Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business.
· Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend
** (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday). For an associate to be scheduled 20 hours or more weekly, greater availability (beyond the minimum required above) that meets the needs of the business will be required.
**Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday).
• In addition to having the Casual availability required, Lead associates must be available to meet the needs for their area
of responsibility at their store. Examples: Design Keyholder must have availability for peak sales/traffic or to support
selling when Sales Associates cannot be scheduled.
