  • Project Management: Act as the lead DRE to manage the development, integration, and compliance of front lighting ECUs and electrical interfaces.

  • Technical Collaboration: Support communication protocols (CAN/LIN) and interface directly with Body Controller and EE teams to ensure system harmony.

  • Regulatory Support: Manage CO2 credit calculations for LED systems to meet regulatory affairs requirements.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with Architecture, Vehicle Concepts, and Program teams to ensure on-time delivery and successful vehicle launches.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in automotive design and release (DRE), specifically with lighting systems or complex plastic/electrical assemblies.

  • Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with injection molding, painting, and decorative processes for automotive components.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and standard validation planning.

  • Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional meetings and collaborate effectively across North American engineering teams.

Preferred Skills & Tools

  • Software: Proficiency in Catia V5, NX, and Teamcenter.

  • Electrical Systems: Hands-on experience with CAN/LIN communication protocols and EE architecture.
