PURPOSE:

To safeguard the visual and tactile
quality of interior and exterior parts by controlling all design-related
quality attributes from concept through production.

Ensure strict alignment with CMF
definitions and uphold the brand's standards for perceived quality and harmony
across all components.

RESPONSIBILITIES
AREA
·
Monitor and control deviations from supplier deliverables against
CMF definitions and standards.
Pre-Texturing &
Surface Development:
·
Lead pre-texturing evaluations and support texture feasibility
with suppliers.
·
Manage T0 Part Grain Marking and tool validation for surface
definition.
Documentation &
Tools:
·
Prepare and manage the Boundary Book to define visual/perceived
quality references.
·
Conduct TGSS (Grain Mapping Approval) and OKTG (Ok to Grain)
reviews.
Part Validation &
Approval:
·
Perform part trials post-texturing and assess surface accuracy,
haptics, gloss, and shape compliance.
·
Review parts in context with full interior to ensure visual
harmony and integration.
Perceived Quality
Check:
·
Evaluate key perceived quality criteria including shape, color
matching, aspect, gloss levels, and tactile feedback.
·
Lead and document AAR (Appearance Approval Report) assessments,
including final approval.
