What’s the role?
This role creates the conditions for designers to continually improve their craft, learn from one another, share knowledge and build meaningful careers. Working across Delivery Units, Design Leadership, People teams and broader Practice stakeholders, the role establishes the frameworks, learning pathways, communities and experiences that enable the design profession to thrive.
Sitting within the Catalyst Design Practice, the Craft and Community Lead is accountable for design excellence, career pathways, skills frameworks, professional development, onboarding, mentoring, community engagement and practice culture. The role will ensure that every designer has access to clear growth opportunities, strong professionals' networks, high-quality learning experiences and a shared sense of belonging within the Design Practice.

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience leading design capability, design excellence, learning, community, or practice development initiatives. You will have a deep understanding of design disciplines, design maturity and capability development frameworks. The role requires you to have a genuine passion for helping people grow and perform at their best.
