Our client is leading turnkey solution provider in industrial automation and advanced equipment manufacturer. They are looking for design Manager position, qualifications as below.

Design Manager

Highlight

• Engineering Degree with minimum 5 years design automation machine, equipment, Fixtures & Tooling, Robotic Systems, Parts Presentations and Material experience.
• Experience in Fixtures & Tooling, Robotic Systems
• Good knowledge on Solid Works and AutoCAD

Principal Responsibility:

• Responsible for efficient running of the Department and support the company operation as and when technical gap needs to be resolved. Ensure efficiently interface with various departments on inter-department matters. Plan, distribute and monitor task in Department level.
• Responsible for supporting Department to manage the assigned Project in meeting customers expectation in development engineering work.
• Responsible for supporting Program in meeting customers expectation in Development Engineering work.
• Manage and lead engineers to deliver design task per plan.
• Manage and lead engineers in engineering support task
• Work with various departments for better activity interface.
• Review and revise of process to improve departments efficiency
• Identify training program to upgrade all engineer levels of DED staffs' skill level in alignment with company's business direction.
• Initiate continual improvement program.
• Develop new skill sets to meet new demand and Technology.
• Assess staffs' performance.
• Motivate staff to strive for better quality, efficiency, and passion in their work.
• To provide guidance and commitment to the execution of key company initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, BCM and Housekeeping practices
• Maintain good working relationship with all departments
• Support Quality Management System

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering; Mechanical Engineer / Mechatronic Engineer
• Minimum 5 years design experience in Fixtures & Tooling, Robotic Systems, Parts Presentations and Material
• Handling Systems
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good leadership capability
• Good knowledge on Solid Works and AutoCAD
• Must be able to travel in short notice & Good in Customer Engineering
