Job Description

At Transgrid, we connect electricity across NSW and the National Electricity Market, supporting Australia’s transition to a cleaner energy future. The Hunter Transmission Project (HTP) is a critical initiative delivering new transmission infrastructure to unlock renewable energy zones, strengthen network reliability, and support long-term energy security. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a complex, large-scale project shaping the future of Australia’s energy network.

About the Role

The Integration Lead is responsible for facilitating seamless coordination between substation and transmission line design and delivery teams, ensuring all technical interfaces, dependencies, and integration points are effectively managed across the Hunter Transmission Project Delivery Phase. The role drives alignment across engineering, construction, and operational activities, supporting integrated project delivery outcomes across scope, schedule, quality, and operational readiness.

Working closely with project leadership, engineering teams, contractors, and external stakeholders, you will coordinate interface management activities, integration planning, risk mitigation, and technical collaboration across multiple project workstreams within a complex major infrastructure environment.

About You

  • Extensive experience working within engineering, design, project management, or integration roles across major infrastructure, utilities, transmission, or large-scale construction projects
  • Proven capability managing technical interfaces, interdependencies, and integration activities across multidisciplinary delivery teams and complex project environments
  • Strong understanding of transmission line and substation design, construction methodologies, operational requirements, and project delivery frameworks
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience facilitating workshops, integration planning, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, construction management, or a related discipline.
