Job Purpose:

Lead the strategic development of highway and structure designs, ensuring adherence to standards, optimizing project outcomes, and preparing cost-effective solutions. Direct project management and client coordination efforts, integrating innovative technologies for efficient and compliant infrastructure solutions, maintaining high-quality standards in collaboration with stakeholders.

• Prepare detailed design for construction projects to the contract stage.
• Providing technical direction to the design crew, assigning tasks, instructing in procedures, and ensuring the orderly progress of the project
• Reviews and revises and complete design projects.
• Supervises revision of plans of projects to contract.
• Undertake independent studies or assignments.
• Deals with written enquiries assigned originating either from the public or from other government agencies.
• Directing the preparation of drawings and estimates in specific applications.
• Acquaintance with design codes and manuals
• Contract Clauses interpretation.
• To incorporate state of art technology

Technical Skills

• Comprehensive understanding of highway and structure design principles and practices

• In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and specifications

• Experience in managing complex design projects from concept to completion

• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, codes, and standards

• Expertise in analyzing and interpreting geotechnical and topographical data

• Basic Knowledge of relevant design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D,MicroStation)

Education Qualification:

BE/B. Tech – Civil Engineering or ME/M. Tech Civil Engineering

Work Experience (Range of years):

20-25 years of relevant experience
