We are looking for a Software Engineer to contribute independently and collaboratively to development of automation connectivity solutions. You will be joining the Automation Platform R&D unit in Valmet’s Automation Solutions Business Area, Tampere, Finland.

You will join our R&D team developing and maintaining the Valmet DNAe product, a next-generation distributed control system. In this position you will be working with a variety of external protocols enabling connections from Valmet DNAe automation systems to third-party systems and devices. You will also contribute to the further development of our link framework (middleware) solution.
