Our Client, a leading Renewable Energy Company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

DESIGN ENGINEER – SOLAR/WIND/BESS

Job Role

The position of Designer Engineer will report to Manager Business Development - Technical and will be responsible for designing Solar, Wind & BESS systems for various renewable energy projects. Key duties include creating detailed layout designs, performing site assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role involves using specialized software for system design, preparing technical documentation, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to optimize system performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Solar/Wind/BESS and Hybrid systems, including electrical and mechanical layouts, for various projects.
• Utilize specialized software tools for creating detailed and accurate system designs.
• Conduct on-site evaluations to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of Solar, Wind & BESS systems.
• Analyze site conditions, including shading, orientation, and structural integrity.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Ensure all designs meet industry standards, local codes, and company guidelines.
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical support and guidance during the installation and commissioning phases.
• Analyze and optimize system designs to maximize efficiency and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in renewable and energy storage technologies and integrate them into designs.
• Ensure all system designs comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of design standards and practices to maintain high quality and compliance.

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution/equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1-2 years of related functional experience in a similar role at an equivalent position or in one level below position.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in Renewable system design, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Experience in designing BESS is the must
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, Homer or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, solar, wind & BESS technologies, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Age

• The candidate should be preferably not more than 33 years of age as of last date of submission of application.
