Position Junior Design Engineer, Design Engineer

Experience: 1–4 Years
Location: Hyderabad & Khammam
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electric utility GIS data maintenance activities, including design updates, as-built incorporation, asset validation, and QA.
• Work on GE Smallworld for maintaining and updating electric utility network data.
• Interpret as-built drawings, design documents, and engineering information and incorporate updates into GIS.
• Maintain accurate information related to electric distribution assets, network connectivity, topology, and GIS data
• Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Identify and resolve connectivity, network, and data-related errors
• Ensure GIS data is updated in accordance with defined workflows and client requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address data discrepancies and complete assigned deliverables within timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1–4 years of experience in Electric Utility Data Maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with GE Smallworld GIS
• Good understanding of electric distribution assets and utility networks
• Experience in GIS data maintenance, updates, and validation
• Knowledge of network connectivity and topology
• Ability to interpret as-built and design documents
• Good understanding of GIS data modelling
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
