Long Description

Your Role

As a Design Engineer – Concession, you will play a critical role in evaluating and resolving structural non-conformities in aircraft components and assemblies. You will assess damage, analyze impacts on airworthiness, and provide engineering dispositions in line with Airbus standards and Structural Repair Manuals (SRM).

In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate structural non-conformities and assess acceptance criteria for damaged aircraft parts and components.
  • Analyze damage reports and determine impact on aircraft structure, safety, and performance.
  • Create and maintain databases for repetitive damages at specific locations and propose effective corrective solutions.
  • Perform non-conformity assessments for Single Aisle (SA) and Long Range (LR) aircraft structures.
  • Provide engineering dispositions including use-as-is, repair, or rework solutions based on SRM and design principles.
  • Develop rework and repair design solutions in compliance with SRM and Airbus design guidelines.
  • Work extensively on fuselage and metallic aircraft structures.
  • Utilize engineering and production tools such as Airina, TAKSY, and SAP (PDA/PAC) to manage and track concessions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and safety to resolve production non-conformities.

Your Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience in aircraft structures, concessions, or non-conformity assessment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, Industrial Production, or Automotive Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of fuselage structures and metallic structures
  • Hands-on experience in creating and analyzing non-conformity reports during aircraft production.
  • Good working knowledge of Structural Repair Manuals (SRM) and repair assessment methodologies.
  • Strong expertise in SA and LR non-conformity assessments
  • Familiarity with ATA 57 is an added advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Airbus structures and ANDD/origination processes for Single Aisle programs is preferred.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
