Could you be the Design Engineer in Madrid (Getafe) we’re looking for a temporary role?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your design expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside young and proactive teammates in a multidisciplinary position.

You´ll colaborate in the mechanical design and technical documentation of the company. Day to day you´ll work closely with teams across the business (production and CSC), contribuite with the preparation of estimations for mechanical design proyects and much more.

You´ll specifically take care of the create and update mechanical drawings and electrical schemes, but also create materials lists (BOM).

We’ll look to you for:

  • Create the technical specifications of equipment, measurement of parts, drawings based on 2D and 3D and negotiate with suppliers to ensure the quality in delivery.
  • Create technical documentation, instructions and risk analysis.
  • Design of special tools needed for the assembly and disassembly of the elements.
  • Perform calculations and simulations to validate the design, and ensure that changes comply with Alstom´s processes.

All about you

  • Degree in Electromechanical, Mechanical or related
  • Experience working with Inventor
  • English level: B2
  • Knowledge of PLC programming or any other electronic system will be valued.
  • 1 or 2 years of experience in similar positions.
