Your role in our team:

• Designing subassemblies and components for grain harvester headers
• Developing detailed designs considering performance, cost, and durability factors
• Performing engineering analyses of the designs
• Creating CAD models, drawings, and documentation per CLAAS standards
• Managing and reducing design-related risks
• Designing prototypes and supporting manufacturing and testing activities
• Preparing for and assisting with pilot and full-scale production launches
• Driving continuous product improvements
• Supporting project planning and working collaboratively as a team member

Your profile:

• Degree in mechanical engineering
• Good English communication skills ​
• CAD software expertise and MS Office​
• A proactive, system- and project-focused approach

Additional assets:​

• Degree in agricultural mechanical engineering ​
• Knowledge of CATIA software​
• 3+ years of product design experience (preferred, but newly graduated engineers are welcome!)​
• Experience with assembly, welding, machining, and sheet metal processes ​
• Familiarity with harvesting machinery operation ​
• German language skills
