DESIGN ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Accuracy and completeness of design deliverables; compliance with standards (BS, Eurocodes, or equivalent).
• Providing input on technical designs and customer requirement to assist the commercial team on preparing proposals.
• Design Validation & Calculations, verified design calculations; optimization resulting in material/cost savings.
• Accuracy and revision control of drawings and documents.
• Timely response and resolution of design-related issues.
• Assist to ensure the smooth functioning of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings Projects work by supporting the designing and construction stage.
• Attending Tender meetings and carry out design coordination activities liaising with relevant parties such as Quantity Surveyors, Project managers etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in civil and steel structure design within the construction industry.
• Good negotiation Skill and Analytical mindset and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Expertise in structural analysis and design software (STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Ability to prioritize and meet design deadlines in fast-paced environments.
