The Design Engineer is responsible for reviewing customer documents and Outside Engineer redlines for accuracy, efficiency, and coordination with Elevate Structures standards. They will review customer documents prior to the commencement of drafting on a project and provide general direction, pinpoint trouble areas or areas for potential value-engineering, and locate information that is missing to begin drafting. They will also review redlines from Outside Engineers for completion, accuracy, coordination, and value-engineering opportunities.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. This role will routinely utilize standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers, to perform the core functions listed in this job description. The work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive reading, data entry, and verbal/electronic communication. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 25 pounds.
This role involves minimal exposure to noise or temperature variations.

Travel
