Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Design Engineer II to work with Product Design Engineering, planning, and assuring technical success and timely completion of assigned design and/or development projects related to new products and product improvements to the installation equipment. This position reports to the Manager, Engineering in Kingston, NY fastener installation tooling manufacturing facility.

Role and Responsibilities:
Minimum Bachelor's degree. Preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
Basic Qualifications:
Five to eight (5-8) years of experience in an engineering role;
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic systems:
Experience with motor control circuits;
Experience with PLC programming;
Experience in a manufacturing environment;
Experience with international business.
