Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design & Drafting

  • Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Develop and maintain 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
  • Generate fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings.
  • Produce layout drawings for equipment, cleanrooms, utilities, and production facilities.
  • Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
  • Manage drawing revisions, document control, and engineering change records.

Engineering Support

  • Support engineering teams in equipment design modifications and improvement projects.
  • Conduct site measurements and convert them into accurate engineering drawings.
  • Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and suppliers to resolve drawing issues.
  • Ensure all designs meet safety, quality, and manufacturing requirements.

Project Support

  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
  • Monitor project schedules and ensure timely delivery of design documents.
  • Provide technical support during equipment installation and commissioning activities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Mechatronics / Industrial Design Engineering
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of design and drafting experience in Manufacturing / Semiconductor/HDD equipment / Automation systems / Cleanroom projects
  • Experience supporting equipment installation and modification projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / SolidWorks.
  • Ability to prepare detailed fabrication and assembly drawings.
  • Experience in 3D modelling and design documentation.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.
