The position ofDesignDocument Control Manager will manage and perform administrative and clerical functions related to document control procedures.
Responsibilities
Compiles andmaintainscontrol records and related files to release blueprints, drawings, and engineering documents to production and other operating departments.
Examinesdocuments, such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
Conferswith document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, andnotifiesaffected departments.
Maintains related files.
May prepare requests for reproduction of documents.
Mayoperatereproduction equipment.
May prepare reports and memorandums.
MinimumRequirements
Bachelordegree.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in similar administrative positions.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effective communication skills in writing and typing.
Effective organization skills.
