As the Design Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital banking at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. Your primary focus will be to lead a talented team of designers, fostering an environment of creativity and collaboration. You will be responsible for developing and implementing design strategies that align with the bank's digital vision, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across all digital platforms.

• Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing creative direction and inspiration.
• Develop and execute design strategies for Digital Banking Kotak 811, ensuring a consistent brand experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to deliver innovative digital solutions.
• Conduct user research and analyze market trends to inform design decisions and stay ahead of the competition.
• Create and maintain design systems, style guides, and brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive digital presence.
• Oversee the design and development of digital banking applications, ensuring a high level of usability and visual appeal.
• Conduct regular design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve the team's output.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and best practices in the digital banking industry.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate design concepts and strategies.

• A bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communications, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in design leadership, with a proven track record in digital banking or financial services.
• Expertise in user-centric design principles and a deep understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team of designers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar tools.
• A portfolio showcasing a strong design aesthetic, innovative thinking, and a deep understanding of digital banking design.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
• A proactive and analytical mindset, with a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
