About this role:

This role is based in our Mumbai office and you will be a key member of our wider Studio HBA team. The portfolio across India and South East Asia includes projects for major hotel operators and developers.

As the Design Director, you will need to have strong experience in leading and coordinating multiple hospitality projects from concept design inception to completion. Project management for interior design projects in order to effectively lead the project operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Distill abstract business concepts and client needs into elegant creative solutions.

· Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members who work under them.

· Pitch ideas confidently and present the creative vision clearly to clients, as well as communicate in the same manner to members of the creative team.

· Have strong people management and leadership skills in order to hire, develop, and inspire the creative team

· Ensure that all of the organization’s or clients creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.

· Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.

· Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

· A recognized interior or Architecture qualification.

· A minimum of 12 yrs of experience as a senior level designer with Architecture/ Interior design organization, working on luxury and/or premium hospitality and Private residential projects.

· A proven track record in delivering good quality designed projects.

· Strong in team management and leadership skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.

· Extensive supervisory experience (including leadership, team-building, and delegation) leading and managing a creative team.

· Based in Mumbai or ready to relocate.
