We are looking for a Design Director to join our team in Tokyo. Our Tokyo office is conveniently located in Minato area and only takes 10 -15 walk from Azabujuban, Ropponggi and Hirro station.

Job Summary/業務内容

As a Design Director specializing in F&B or hospitality design, you will need to have strong experience in leading and coordinating multiple projects from concept to completion. Your expertise and passion for creating captivating, functional, and inviting spaces will be instrumental in shaping the guest experience within hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality venues. You are expected to be client facing and hold responsibilities from design pitches, presentations and day-to-day project management

F&Bまたはホスピタリティデザインを専門とするデザインディレクターとして、コンセプト立案から完成まで、複数のプロジェクトを統括・推進した豊富な経験が求められます。ホテル、レストランをはじめとするホスピタリティ施設において、魅力的で機能性と居心地の良さを兼ね備えた空間を創造する専門性と情熱を活かし、ゲストエクスペリエンスの向上を担っていただきます。また、クライアントとの折衝を主体的に担い、デザイン提案やプレゼンテーションから日々のプロジェクトマネジメントまで、幅広い業務をリードしていただきます。

Key Responsibilities/主な業務

• Distill abstract business concepts and client needs into elegant creative solutions.
• 抽象的なビジネスコンセプトやクライアントのニーズを、洗練されたクリエイティブなソリューションへと昇華させる。
• Take responsibility for the creative vision and the standard of output across team members who work under them.
• チームメンバーが手がける成果物のクリエイティブビジョンおよび品質基準に責任を持つ。
• Pitch ideas confidently and present the creative vision clearly to clients, as well as communicate in the same manner to members of the creative team.
• 自信を持ってアイデアを提案し、クライアントにクリエイティブビジョンを明確に伝えるとともに、クリエイティブチームのメンバーに対しても同様に明確なコミュニケーションを行う。
• Have strong people management and leadership skills in order to hire, develop, and inspire the creative team.
• クリエイティブチームの採用・育成・モチベーション向上を実現するための、優れた人材マネジメント能力およびリーダーシップを有する。
• Ensure that all of the organization’s or clients’ creative output/visuals are consistent with the overall brand.
• 自社またはクライアントが発信するすべてのクリエイティブ成果物やビジュアルが、ブランド全体のコンセプトや方向性と一貫していることを確保する。
• Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
• 複数のプロジェクトを構想段階から完成まで一貫して主導し、定められた納期を遵守する。
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
• 他のチームメンバーおよび関係者と緊密に連携し、協力して業務を推進する。

Below are the minimum qualifications that we expect from you/応募資格

• A recognized interior or Architecture qualification.
• インテリアデザインまたは建築分野における正式な学位・資格を有していること。
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a senior level designer with Architecture/ Interior design organization, working on luxury and/or premium F&B, hospitality and Private residential projects.
• 建築・インテリアデザイン事務所において、シニアデザイナーとして12年以上の実務経験を有し、ラグジュアリーまたはハイエンドのF&B（飲食施設）、ホスピタリティ施設および高級個人邸宅のプロジェクトに携わった経験があること。
• A proven track record in delivering good quality designed projects.
• 高品質なデザインプロジェクトを実現し、完成まで導いた実績があること。
• Strong in team management and leadership skills.
• 優れたチームマネジメント能力およびリーダーシップを有していること。
• Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
• クリエイティブビジョン、コンセプト、アイデア、デザインソリューションを、関係者、社内チーム、クライアントに対して明確かつ効果的に伝える優れたコミュニケーション能力を有していること。
• Extensive supervisory experience (including leadership, team-building, and delegation) leading and managing a creative team.
• クリエイティブチームの統括・マネジメント経験が豊富であり、リーダーシップの発揮、チームビルディング、業務の適切な分担・委任を通じてチームを牽引できること。
• Native Japanese & business-level English.
• 日本語ネイティブレベルかつビジネスレベルの英語力を有していること。
• Based in Tokyo, or ready to relocate.
• 東京在住、または東京への転居が可能であること。
