In this role, you'll:


Work within our Design Delivery Management Team within Engineering & System Integrity branch of Sydney Trains, with a focus on being the critical technical interface and having the responsibility of project managing the successful delivery of the end-to-end project design life cycle of single and multi-discipline engineering projects.

This role will see you working at all different stages of parallel running projects providing design interface management to enable constructable designs for our clients.

You will be accountable for understanding the detail and knowing what makes a good design. This will include managing multiple and competing stakeholders within a complex project environment.

In this role, you will communicate with a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups and bring a thorough understanding of the project(s), with the ability to facilitate a tender evaluation prior to any design brief occurring.

In addition to this, the role will involve, writing a design brief to procure a design consultant and performing and reporting on budget forecasts to make sure the status of the project is in line with the program of work. Also providing due diligence to make sure the project is consistent with what was asked for and in scope and acceptable to standards and quality of work for the client.

About you


Your skills will be in technical design consulting on projects in the civil, structural, electrical or design space and ideally with experience in a rail environment.

You’re recognised for your attention to detail and having success in the areas of stakeholder, client and supplier relationship management. This will also include experience in contract management and contract administration.

You also will hold Tertiary qualifications (Degree) in engineering, project management or relevant discipline.

This is an Award RC6 Permanent Full-Time role, based at our Clyde Hub in Auburn, with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!.
