Job Description

Perini Management Services Inc., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an experienced Design-Build Project Manager to join our team in Astoria, Oregon.

The Design Build Project Manager to lead large-scale design-build and construction projects from design development through construction and closeout. This role is responsible for project execution, client relationships, contract administration, financial performance, scheduling, and team leadership, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

As a Design-Build Project Manager at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

Description:

  • Manage all phases of design-build and construction projects.
  • Lead architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and P&L performance.
  • Review design documents, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders.
  • Ensure Design Development compliance with RFP requirements and applicable codes.
  • Manage procurement, subcontract administration, invoicing, and project closeout.
  • Build and maintain strong client, consultant, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Monitor project risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and project objectives.
  • Mentor and develop project staff and junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of construction and/or design-build project management experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, including projects valued at $25M+.
  • Federal Government project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, project controls, and contract administration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, or similar software.
  • Design-Build project delivery experience.
  • Design phase management experience.
  • PE, EIT, PMP, RA, DBIA or other relevant professional certifications.
  • Experience with Marine Construction projects.
