The Design Automation Engineer II is responsible for supporting the design, development, programming, testing, and implementation of automated manufacturing equipment and control systems. This role contributes to PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, robotics, machine vision integration, and mechanical design to improve manufacturing processes and equipment performance. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to support automation projects while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

  Design, develop, and implement small-scale automated equipment and manufacturing systems.

  Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC applications and control systems.
• 
  Assist in the development and support of SCADA and HMI applications.
• 
  Support robotic automation projects, including system integration and troubleshooting.

  Integrate and troubleshoot machine vision systems.
• 
  Create and maintain 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and electrical wiring schematics.

  Perform application testing in Windows and Linux desktop environments.

  Support equipment commissioning, startup, validation, and troubleshooting activities.

  Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to improve automation processes.

  Prepare and maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, and project records.

  Ensure compliance with company safety policies, engineering standards, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

• 
  2–5 years of experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, or manufacturing automation.
• 
  Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
• 
  Experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and automation testing.
• 
  Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.

• 
  2+ years of direct application testing experience in Windows or Linux desktop environments.
• 
  PLC programming and troubleshooting.
