Leading global commercial law firm Dentons is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Design and Marketing Advisor / Senior Advisor to join our Business Development and Marketing team. With the largest international reach of any law firm in the market, Dentons offers the opportunity to work with colleagues across New Zealand and the wider global Dentons network.

The role

Reporting to our Business Development and Marketing Director and working closely with our Senior Marketing and Communications Manager, this is a hands-on and varied role supporting the delivery of high-quality creative collateral, communications, digital content and marketing campaigns. You will be responsible for:

• Creating high-quality marketing collateral, including pitches, capability statements, presentations, brochures, event invitations, newsletters, client alerts, advertisements and digital content.
• Coordinating digital marketing campaigns, client newsletters, legal updates and other e-marketing communications.
• Updating and maintaining website content to ensure it is accurate, engaging, SEO optimised and consistent with our brand.
• Supporting internal communications that promote firm initiatives, achievements and culture.
• Producing design and artwork across print and digital channels using Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Supporting multimedia initiatives, including podcast production, video editing and animation.
• Acting as a brand ambassador and advising internal stakeholders on the application of Dentons global brand identity.
• Conducting market, client and competitor research to support business development and marketing initiatives.
• Managing creative projects and liaising with external suppliers, including printers, photographers and publishers.

What are we looking for?

You will have experience in a design and marketing role and enjoy balancing creative work with varied day-to-day marketing responsibilities. You will ideally bring:

• Approximately three to five years' experience in a marketing and design role, ideally within professional services.
• A relevant qualification in marketing, design, communications or a related discipline.
• Advanced Adobe Creative Cloud skills, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong knowledge of branding, visual identity and the application of corporate brand standards.
• Experience producing high-quality marketing collateral and digital content.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities and changing deadlines.
• A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using tools such as Canva or Templafy.
• Experience with email marketing platforms, content management systems or CRM systems. Experience with Vuture or InterAction would be advantageous.
• Multimedia experience across video production, podcast editing or animation would also be an advantage.
