As a Mid-Level Software Engineer (SAP ABAP) at John Deere in Indaiatuba/SP, you will be responsible for the development, configuration, and testing of mission-critical systems, with a core focus on SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori Technologies. You will translate business requirements into high-performance software specifications, utilizing your SAP knowledge to implement effective technical solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, code, configure, and test software programs and systems;
• Evaluate and implement design enhancements to improve the cost-effectiveness, quality, and performance of software applications;
• Analyze assignments and define technical specifications required to achieve project objectives;
• Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation as directed or required by the project scope;
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure that features align with business requirements;
• Follow industry-standard Agile methodologies for software design, development, and documentation.

Skills You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent fields;
• Advanced English (broad vocabulary, solid grammar, able to lead meetings and discuss technical solutions);
• Solid experience in development and implementation using ABAP, SAP Fiori technologies, and frameworks;
• Experience with SAP configurations;Understanding of application development environments, database design, data management, and infrastructure capabilities/constraints;
• Ability to apply technical information to solve problems and conduct research;
• Understanding of security vulnerabilities and their remediation;
• Solid analytical, communication, and collaboration skills;
• Availability to work in a hybrid model, 3 times a week, in Indaiatuba/SP.

• Experience in SAP SD and pricing configurations;
• Knowledge of UI5 and OData services;
• Familiarity with Vistex configuration;
• Experience working with BADIs and User Exits;
