This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Backend Developer based in Brazil.
This is a fully remote opportunity for a senior backend professional to build robust, scalable, and business-focused solutions. You will contribute across multiple stages of development, from database design and implementation to microservices, APIs, and complex system integrations. The role involves working with Cloud and SAP environments while contributing to modern, high-quality technical solutions. You will also be involved in testing, user acceptance, deployment, and production support. This position offers a collaborative environment with challenging technical projects that can broaden your expertise and impact. It is an opportunity to make a direct contribution to meaningful technology initiatives while working across diverse business contexts.
Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement robust, scalable, and high-quality backend solutions.
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and microservices aligned with application and business requirements.
- Structure, model, and develop relational and/or non-relational databases.
- Build and maintain integrations between different systems and platforms, particularly across Cloud and SAP environments.
- Contribute to microservices architecture decisions and the development of scalable solutions.
- Implement unit tests and help ensure the quality, reliability, and maintainability of developed solutions.
- Support user acceptance testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Provide production support and contribute to solution stability during the Hypercare phase.
- Create technical documentation and transfer knowledge to teams responsible for ongoing application support.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining clear communication, a sense of urgency, and strong prioritization.
Requirements:
- Solid professional experience in backend development, API development, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with relational and/or non-relational databases, including database modeling and development.
- Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and principles for building scalable applications.
- Experience integrating different systems, particularly within Cloud and SAP environments.
- Experience with unit testing, deployment processes, and production application support.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and dynamic environments.
- Strong communication skills, proactivity, and the ability to work independently when solving technical challenges.
- Strong sense of urgency, organization, and ability to prioritize work according to project needs and business impact.
