As our Quality Supervisor, you'll lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS). You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our products, processes, and suppliers consistently meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements while helping drive a culture of quality across the organization.

This is a highly visible leadership role that partners with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams to improve processes, reduce risk, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Schedule: First Shift, Monday through Thursday

Work Environment: Climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Goodlettsville, Tennessee

What You'll Do

Quality Systems Leadership

• Maintain and continuously improve the Quality and Environmental Management System (QEMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Develop, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of the quality management system.
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company quality requirements.

Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving

• Lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and Fishbone Analysis.
• Manage corrective and preventive action (CAPA) programs and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, improve process capability, and strengthen production controls.
• Design and implement testing methods that support incoming inspection activities and root cause investigations.

Audits & Compliance

• Lead internal quality audits and support external certification and customer audits.
• Ensure audit findings are addressed effectively and drive sustainable improvements.

Customer & Supplier Quality

• Translate customer requirements into effective quality controls and inspection plans.
• Develop and maintain control plans designed to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Manage supplier qualification programs, performance monitoring, and supplier improvement initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, mentor, and develop members of the quality team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Coach team members on quality tools, systems, and best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence throughout the organization.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Applied Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a quality leadership or supervisory role, or eight (8) years of progressive experience in quality assurance, quality control, or quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and manufacturing quality principles.
• Demonstrated experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Advanced knowledge of metrology, blueprint reading, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience with PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and other automotive/manufacturing quality tools.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification (Lead Auditor preferred).
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent quality certification.
• Experience using statistical methods and data analysis to improve manufacturing processes.
