[What the role is]
In this role, you will work with various supervisory teams to identify and gather data requirements, translate them into specifications, and implement solutions such as dashboards and reports to enhance supervisory effectiveness.
[What you will be working on]
The Markets, Infrastructure, and Intermediaries Department (MII) is responsible for admitting and supervising markets and infrastructures, including exchanges, central counterparties, the central depository, trade repositories, benchmark administrators, as well as their surrounding ecosystem of securities and derivatives broker intermediaries.
You will be part of a team that is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of supervisory technology solutions to support the supervision of regulated entities under MII’s ambit. In this role, you will work with various supervisory teams to identify and gather data requirements, translate them into specifications, and implement solutions such as dashboards and reports to enhance supervisory effectiveness.
[What we are looking for]
Able to work at both the conceptual and operational levels in a team environment. Can work independently, and is self-motivated
Possesses strong analytical skills, and is detail-oriented
Knowledge in Python, R, and/or other programming languages
Comfortable with handling large datasets, and performing data cleaning and transformation using programming languages (eg. pandas, NumPy for Python, etc).
Comfortable with the use of visualisation tools such as Tableau, Qlikview and Power BI.
Knowledge of AI tools is an added advantage.
The successful candidate will be offered a 1-year Contract. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
