Priory Hospital Enfield is looking to recruit a Deputy Ward Manager Mental Health Nursing to join our team.

Priory Hospital Enfield, Edmonton, North London is an acute and secure mental health service for adult males and females, including medium secure, low secure and acute wards. It provides specialist assessment, treatment and care for individuals with severe mental illness and complex needs. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus services and Edmonton Green Overground station nearby. It is approximately 2 miles from central London, with the A10 and M25 also within easy reach.

You will be part of a compassionate team committed to delivering high-quality services and positive outcomes. You will play an important role in supporting the wider team, carrying out key responsibilities and activities that contribute to wellbeing, dignity and a positive experience across our services.

The Deputy Ward Manager role provides senior nursing leadership within the ward team, working closely with the Ward Manager to ensure high standards of care.

What you'll bring to the role

Essential for the role
  • Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council in Mental Health Nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration experience
  • Demonstrable expertise within a clinical speciality, with evidence of strong and visible positive leadership skills
