Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with T&C manager for a Signalling Test and Commissioning strategy and Plan for the project.
  • Coordinate with T&C manager to schedule Signalling Test and Commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate with T&C manager to develop the organizational, work breakdown structures and provide reliable estimates of tasks duration and costs to be aligned with the Project Milestones.
  • Coordinate with T&C manager to identify Signalling Test & Commissioning needs in term of resources (Human/Material).
  • Work with Installation, Project Manager and in close cooperation with Project Design Authority on the design issues.
  • Coordinate with the client and engineering all Signalling T&C activities, assuring that the required premises are fulfilled at due time.
  • Hold regular progress meetings with T&C manager and team leads.
  • Coordinate with Project Design Authority on resolving software anomalies.
  • Provide Test and Commissioning results progress reports.
  • Manage Signalling Test and Commissioning Team activities and monitors subordinate workloads taking into account Time/Cost/Quality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Signalling System on site testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and surveys.
  • Systems Test and Commissioning experience in Windows, Linux/Unix based applications and systems software as well as computer networking.
  • Load, performance, Integration testing.
  • Ability to identify potential problems and propose solutions.
  • Efficiently analyse and troubleshoot software/systems problems and communicate with the software/system development team in effective manner.
  • The candidate must have developed through his professional experiences the capability of managing Customer and Suppliers relationships.
  • Very adaptable and able to prioritize in critical and pressure situations.
  • The capability of coordinating and managing heterogeneous resources in an international context is required.
  • Relevant experience on managing Test & Commissioning activities.
  • Strong Interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work in autonomy, but strong self-aware of limits.
  • Good team working approach.
  • Good communication skills and proactivity in coordinating the activities of all parties involved.
  • Strong experience minimum 10 years on Signalling System Test & Commissioning for CBTC projects.
  • Bachelor degree holder of Computer/Electrical/Electronic/Industrial Engineering or Computer Science.
