Salary: $67,662 - $104,873/year

Job Duties:

  • R esponsible for managing the divisional operations of the Central Maintenance District, Trades and Park Operations.
  • R esponsible for managing, assigning, and prioritizing the work orders (1,800 annually) for the repair and new construction throughout the 22,000-acre park system.
  • R esponsible for implementation and accountability of relevant operational budgets and helps in the preparation of the budgets for the Park Operations Division.
  • W orks with all Parks + Rec Divisions in the planning, cost estimates and implementation of repair projects and new construction
  • Serves as Acting Superintendent in Superintendent’s absence and assumes full responsibility for Division Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in an industry related field preferred.
  • Two years of progressive experience as a supervisor with a construction and grounds maintenance background.
  • Certifications in HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing, preferred.
  • License to handle R22, R410a and majority of all new R400 series refrigerants, preferred.
  • Must have a valid Missouri Commercial Driver’s License Class B (CDL) with the appropriate endorsement(s) or obtain the same within six months.
  • Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License.
  • Must submit to/pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
