We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our team on a maternity leave cover contract from 15 June 2026 to 15 February 2027. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership position, supporting the day-to-day operations of the service while ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients and staff. The successful candidate will work closely with the Service Manager to maintain compliance, drive team performance, and foster a positive, collaborative environment. Strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for service excellence are essential.

What do we need you to do?
You will have the proven ability to lead and coordinate service strategies in functional areas that include:
▪ Working for the continuous improvement of our service in line with Accreditation Standards
▪ Facilitating the development of your team to uphold the unique needs of each client
▪ Assigning work allocations to team members based on their skills and abilities.
▪ Advocating with and for our clients and their families to enable choice and decision making that supports independence
▪ Interpreting audits and data, identify trends, provide advice, and implement improvement initiatives
What do we need you to bring?
▪ Ideally, we’re looking for previous experience in aged or community care
▪ We are looking for someone who has a good insight into the changes occurring within the Age Care Sector
▪ A current registration with AHPRA.
