Talarico for Texas is building a movement to take back power for working people. The campaign is seeking a full-time Deputy Research Director to report directly to the Research Director and support the research team in producing high-quality self and opposition research. This is not an entry-level position.

James was born at Round Rock Hospital. After graduating from McNeil High School, he earned a bachelor’s degree in government from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in education policy from Harvard University. James taught 6th grade at an underserved public school where he worked with kids and
families to close the gaps in his classroom. He now serves as the local Executive Director of a nonprofit that provides innovative technology to thousands of our students. James is committed to working with everyone — Republicans, Democrats, and Independents — to move Texas forward.
