Deputy Regional Director of Security Operations

Job title: Deputy Regional Director of Security Operations

Reports to: Regional Director of Security Operations

Location: United States (remote)

Salary: 180,000-200,000

About our team

We are a dynamic, dedicated team that provides management and support for a global guarding services account that spans across 30+ countries. Our client is an industry-leading datacenter organization, and we pride ourselves in delivering best-in-class solutions through our teams made up of Security Operations, Operations Support, Business Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, and Human Resources. As part of this team, you’ll work alongside a group of professionals that are committed to excellence and innovation.

About the role

The Deputy Regional Director of Security Operations (Deputy RDSO) supports the delivery of a large-scale, 24/7 physical security operations program for a multinational datacenter client across the AMER region. This role serves as a regional execution leader, working in close partnership with Regional Director(s) of Security Operations (RDSOs) to drive consistent, compliant, and high-performing operations.
With responsibility across assigned site portfolios, sub-regions, or functional areas, the Deputy RDSO helps translate strategic direction into operational execution. While the RDSO retains full regional accountability, this role focuses on driving performance, reinforcing standards, and identifying risks across the field. It operates in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment and requires strong judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage complexity across multiple teams and stakeholders.

What you’ll do

In this role, you will partner with Regional Director(s) of Security Operations to help deliver consistent, high-performing security operations across assigned areas within the AMER region. You will work closely with Regional Security Managers (RSMs), site leaders, and internal partners to ensure operations align with client expectations, program standards, and contractual requirements. You will communicate directly and regularly with the client and execute client-driven tasks.
You will help drive the day-to-day execution of regional security operations, supporting and guiding RSMs and site leadership to maintain strong performance across guarding operations, safety, and service delivery. This includes driving and supporting adherence to SOPs, KPIs, SLAs, and compliance standards, while ensuring operational consistency across sites.
You will review operational data and performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and gaps, and escalate issues with clear, actionable recommendations. You will also play a key role in site stabilization efforts, new site launches, transitions, and overall operational readiness across the region.
In addition, you will support regional initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, helping strengthen processes, improve execution, and drive consistency across teams. You may participate in incident response and escalation management as needed and contribute to executive-ready reporting, dashboards, and client communications.
This role operates in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment and requires flexibility to support after-hours operations during critical events.

What you need to apply

To apply for this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in business, security, or a related field, along with 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in physical security or account management, including experience leading teams. Experience supporting multi-site or regional operations in a 24/7 environment is strongly preferred, along with strong communication skills, sound judgment in high-pressure situations, and a process-driven approach.
This position involves travel (approximately 50% of the time), so a passion for travel (and a valid passport) is essential. This role may also have to work nights and weekends to support high priority events and off-hours incidents.
All applicants to this role must have reliable means of communication, reliable means of transportation (public or private) to get to/from work, the legal right to work in the country where the position is located, and the ability to speak, read and write in English proficiently.

What you’ll get

We offer more than just a job; we offer the chance to be part of a collaborative and supportive team where your contributions are valued and your growth matters. In this role, you will thrive in a dynamic environment while supporting a prestigious multinational client account. You will gain exposure to global operations and cross-regional collaboration, and you will have access to continuous learning, training programs, and career development opportunities designed to help you succeed.
We believe great work deserves great rewards—and we’re committed to staying competitive. This role offers a base salary of $180,000 to $200,000. That range is based on the Greater Seattle Area and may flex depending on your experience and location. We’ve got you covered with medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with life insurance, parental leave, and paid time off.
