Deputy Program Manager - LG PBL - 18819

Description

Serve as a second in command supporting the Program Director in the successful execution of all Landing Gear Performance Based Logistics (LGPBL) program activities. Responsible for management of the repatriation process, supply chain and Business Management System in support of LGPBL. Assists the Contract Manager in observing contract compliance, producing CDRLs and reports, and liaising with the customer and operator. Additionally, this person is responsible for the proper utilization, capability and accuracy of data within the MIS. Such responsibility includes maintaining relevancy and adequacy of all program data and reporting capability.What you will be responsible for:Support a wide variety of program execution activities in operational, managerial, administrative, and financial disciplines, among others, as directed by the Program DirectorResponsible for internal program metrics and financial/operational reportingResponsible for management and execution of program repatriation activitiesOversee overall program supply chain performance supporting remanufacturing activitiesFacilitate periodic Program Management Review meetings with the customerSupport continuous improvement and standardization plans necessary to achieve program quality, delivery and cost targets at all program operating locationsAnticipate problems and work to proactively mitigate themTravel is requiredAll other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful in this role: Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) or Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from four-year College or university; or fifteen (15)+ years related experienceMinimum of Five (5) years of experience in program management or government contractingPrior experience with USAF depot maintenance or logistics, or management of aviation supply chain management programs is strongly preferredExcellent oral and written communication skillsProficient in MS O365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
