Job Description

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) shall assist the Program Manager in the overall management, coordination, and execution of contract operations and shall serve as the acting Program Manager in the PM's absence. The DPM shall support the planning, organization, and oversight of day-to-day contract activities to ensure successful execution of all mission requirements and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

  • The DPM shall coordinate daily operational activities, workforce management, staffing actions, scheduling, personnel accountability, quality assurance, contract reporting, and performance monitoring.
  • The DPM shall work closely with Government stakeholders, technical leads, subcontractors, and contractor personnel to ensure mission requirements are met efficiently and effectively.
  • The DPM shall assist in monitoring contract performance against established objectives, identifying operational risks, tracking corrective actions, and implementing process improvements that enhance operational effectiveness.
  • The DPM shall coordinate recruiting, onboarding, security processing, and personnel replacements to maintain required staffing levels and minimize mission disruptions.
  • The DPM shall assist in preparing executive reports, operational metrics, customer briefings, and contract status updates while ensuring compliance with all contractual requirements, security policies, and Government regulations.
  • The DPM shall maintain effective communication with the COR, CO, and Government leadership regarding program status, personnel matters, and operational issues.
  • The DPM shall remain available during normal business hours and outside normal business hours when mission requirements dictate.
  • The DPM shall maintain current contact information and ensure continuity of operations by providing immediate management support whenever required

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of managerial experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or equivalent U.S. Government organizations, including at least three (3) years supporting operational-level military or intelligence operations.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an intelligence analyst, managing intelligence collection operations, Special Operations Forces (SOF) operations, or comparable intelligence mission support.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU)/DAWIA Program Management certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the management of Government contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and customer engagement skills with experience supporting executive-level decision-making.

Desired USSOCOM/C-UxS Experience

  • Prior experience supporting USSOCOM C-UxS, Counter-UAS, or emerging technology programs.
  • Familiarity with SOF employment of Counter-Unmanned Systems capabilities in operational environments.
  • Experience managing programs involving intelligence integration, operational planning, testing, training, and fielding of C-UxS capabilities.
  • Knowledge of SOF mission planning processes, rapid capability development, and operational requirements supporting Counter-UAS initiatives.
