Deputy Program Manager (SEART), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

V2X is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support management and technical execution of the SEART Chemical Security Program (CSP). Based in Kuala Lumpur, the DPM serves as the PM’s primary deputy and leads the support staff and instructor cadre responsible for delivering chemical security and CBRN training across Southeast Asia. The DPM ensures POI quality, aligns events with DTRA requirements and the CSP Domains, Competencies, and Proficiencies (DCPs).
• Support the PM in all aspects of program execution, act on behalf of the PM as delegated or during PM absence.
• Lead planning and day to day execution of training events, workshops, and exercises across Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and other partner nations.
• Lead, coach, and mentor support staff and instructor cadre.
• Track the timely submission of contract deliverables.
• Coordinate the Operations & Logistics Coordinators.
• Support capability assessments, Training Needs Analyses (TNAs), and gap analyses, and help translate findings into training plans and updates to the TIMP and IMS.
• Lead Quarterly Program Management Reviews.
Working Environment:
Office and classroom environment, limited field time supporting chemical security hands on exercises. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malasia with travel to Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Physical Activities:
Light lifting, ability to navigate public transportation.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor of Science preferably in business, security studies, international relations, law enforcement. MBA and DAWIA certification or PMP desired.
Experience:
• Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating multi event training portfolios, ideally in international contexts.
• Experience leading multi-functional teams.
• Program Management Experience is a plus.
• Experience with scenario based training and exercise design (TTX/CPX/FTX).
• Platform Instructor Experience.
• Desired: DTRA, Military, DHS, FBI, DoS, Interagency experience.
