Manage the operations and maintenance of the landfill gas management system for both NENT and NENTX, including gas collection system, flaring system, biogas engines, extraction blowers, and gas treatment unit; lead testing and commissioning of the NENTX landfill gas management system; and respond to abnormal operations and emergencies.
Compile monitoring data of landfill gas operations for daily reporting to the Process Plant Manager, present exception findings for improvements and rectifications, and utilize Corporate Management Software tools to update plant status and analyze for operational improvements.
Work with the Engineering Team of the Process Plant Department on servicing and engineering works of landfill gas management facilities to minimize downtime and meet set performance targets and objectives.
Lead and supervise the landfill gas management team in achieving set performance targets and objectives, including staff development and training to meet future operational needs of NENTX and NENT.
Safeguard the health and safety of landfill gas operations to prevent incidents and lost time injuries, ensuring compliance with safety standards and protocols.
Work with other departments of NENT and NENTX regarding development and alteration works on landfill gas collection to mutually meet cooperative objectives of landfilling, landscaping, and landfill gas extraction, and perform other related duties as instructed.
