We’re seeking a passionate and driven Deputy Acute Physiotherapy Manager to support and help lead our high-performing acute physiotherapy service — the largest across Epworth, operating 7 days per week. About the Role
In this diverse and rewarding role, you will support both the leadership and day-to-day operations of a team of approximately 22 EFT From contributing to operational management and rostering to driving key portfolios, you will play an integral role in shaping service delivery in partnership with the Allied Health Manager.
You will also maintain a clinical caseload within our short-stay Orthopaedic and General Surgical ward, offering a unique blend of leadership and hands-on clinical practice in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Reporting to the Acute Allied Health Manager, you’ll be a key member of the acute leadership team, representing physiotherapy and driving service excellence. You’ll also collaborate closely with Deputy Physiotherapy Managers across Epworth sites — building strong connections and contributing to innovation and consistency across the network.
You’ll make a real impact by:
• Leading and inspiring a high-performing team to deliver an outstanding patient experience
• Providing expert, individualised physiotherapy care within an acute setting
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff and students to support their growth and development
• Driving patient flow and service efficiency while maintaining exceptional care standards
• Building strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams and external partners

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
