Ports of Jersey is a government-owned PLC responsible for the Island’s harbour and airport, operating commercially while delivering critical national infrastructure.Since incorporation in 2015, the organisation has evolved into a more commercially focused standalone business. The maritime division is now the primary driver of group profitability and is entering its next phase of growth. We are seeking a Deputy Maritime Director to complement strong operational leadership with enhanced commercial and strategic capability.Reporting directly to the Managing Director – Maritime, this is a senior leadership role with a seat on the Ports of Jersey delivery group, contributing to the development and delivery of the organisation’s Strategic Business Plan across both harbour and airport.

  • Expanding marine leisure and enhancing Jersey's position as a premium maritime destination.
  • Growing passenger volumes and improving the end-to-end customer experience.
  • Developing and leveraging the events portfolio to drive footfall, profile and commercial return.
  • Strengthening commercial partnerships across ferry, freight and wider port users.
  • Supporting the evolution of harbour assets and development opportunities where they unlock long-term value.

This role is as much about shaping future opportunity as it is about managing current performance.
